Optimization of material and manufacturing processes
The development was organized based on reference research, ergonomic analysis, and validation through physical prototypes. The iterations made it possible to adjust proportions, angles, and reinforcements until achieving a balance between comfort, durability, and construction simplicity.
The project proposes a formal language in which visible joints (box and tenon, dowels and keys) are part of the product’s identity. The form responds both to comfort criteria and to production constraints, aiming for a timeless and manufacturable piece.
